Once your septic tank has reached its total capacity, solid waste can begin to clog the system, leading to an overflow of liquid on the surface. This will generate pools of water that sit on the earth. If a small body of water does start to appear, it’s essential to have your system drained as soon as possible.

A septic tank gathers all of the used water from dirty dishes, showers, laundry, baths, and even the toilet, generating a lethal combination of smells.
